We are delighted to announce that one of France's most exciting winemakers will be hosting a fine wine dinner at Papple Steading in East Lothian. Olivier Humbrecht MW was France's very first Master of Wine - and one of few French winemakers to still hold this title. He runs his 40 hectare family domaine, Domaine Zind Humbrecht, in Alsace in eastern France. The Humbrecht family have been winegrowers here since 1620, but the domaine was founded by his father in 1959. Olivier is a leading advocate of organic and biodynamic viticulture and has raised the quality of his domaine's wines beyond expectation. Olivier produces sensational textured flavourful wines from low yielding vines, focusing with incredible attention to detail in vineyard
