Washington State is the second largest wine producing region in the US with over 1000 wineries – but few have heard of this region in the UK.

Join this tasting to learn more about this fascinating region with its diverse mix of climate, soil and grapes – and sample the quality of its wines.

Many regions within Columbia Valley, Washington State’s largest subzone, are on a latitude between Burgundy, Rhone and Bordeaux – resulting in New World bold flavours with Old World finesse and fresh acidity all in one wine.

Wines in our tasting will come from leading producers from the length & breadth of the region – including Walla Walla Valley, Yakima Valley, Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Gorge, Red Mountain and beyond.

13 wines will be shown from a diverse range of grape varieties – from Riesling, Albarino, Lemberger, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot to Syrah and more.

Visuals will illustrate the beautiful wine regions and vineyards of Washington State.

A selection of artisan cheeses will be served alongside the wines.
