An explosive expo on volcanic wines!

Volcanic soils account for just 1% of the world’s surface, but they are highly sought after by vinegrowers.  The style of wines produced are so distinctive and intriguing due to their incredible tension, concentrated acidity and mineral compounds.  Many volcanic regions are also phylloxera-free so some vines are ungrafted and extremely old – adding to the complexity of the wines.

This evening will offer a deep dive into all things volcanic – with a chance to sample 13 wines from across the world: including Hungary, Sicily, Santorini, Campania, Basilicata, Soave, Canary Islands, Oregon and beyond.

No prior knowledge required to enjoy this – just a love of fine wine.

A selection of artisan cheeses will also be served alongside the wines.
