Cabernet Sauvignon around the World Masterclass: SOLD OUT!
March 27|7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
| £55.00Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted grape in the world. It is the hero of Bordeaux’s left bank in France, where it appears in blends, but it is also now grown in almost every wine growing country in the world from Moldova to Chile.
It originates from a cross between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc – and is most prized for its low yields, thick skins, full body and complexity – but Cabernet Sauvignon is not an easy grape to work with in vineyard or winery.
Join our tasting to compare 13 different Cabernet Sauvignons from around the world selected by Rose Murray Brown – including Italy (Tuscany), USA (Washington State), South Africa (Stellenbosch), France (Bordeaux), Australia (Coonawarra), Argentina (Mendoza), Chile (Colchagua) and more.
No prior knowledge required to enjoy this – just a love of fine wine.
A selection of artisan cheese will also be served to accompany the wines.
